SOWERBY FLOWER CLUB REPORT

For the March meeting, Sowerby Flower Club enjoyed a demonstration by Alex Gracey from Grassington.

Her title was "The Allure of Coco Chanel". Her arrangements evoked aspects of the famous French designer's work. Alex also gave an interesting account of her life, with which most of the audience were unfamiliar.

Some commmittee members paid tribute to her most famous design, the Little Black Dress, wearing little (or long) black dresses (skirts or trousers) accessorised with her favourite pearls.
